Adam LaRoche
Golden Glove Award-Winner
In his own words…
On the Field
Adam LaRoche is a former major league first baseman who played 12 seasons for several teams, including the Atlanta Braves, Pittsburgh Pirates, Boston Red Sox, Arizona Diamondbacks, Washington Nationals and Chicago White Sox. During his career he won both the National League Silver Slugger award and Golden Glove award.
Off the Field
LaRoche retired abruptly in 2014 when the Chicago White Sox stopped permitting his son to join him in the clubhouse. In an effort to spend more time with family, as well as pursuing his E3 business ventures and volunteering to prevent human sex trafficking, LaRoche retired from Major League Baseball at the age of 34, leaving $13million on the table.
