Tamika Catchings began her career under Pat Summit at the University of Tennessee, winning four SEC regular season crowns and the NCAA title in 1998. Drafted 3rd overall by the Indiana Fever in 2001, Catchings career accomplishments include:

  • WNBA Rookie of the Year

  • WNBA Champion, Regular Season MVP, and Finals MVP

  • 7-time All-WNBA First Team

  • 12-time WNBA All Star

  • 5-Time WNBA Defensive Player of the Year

  • 4-time Olympic Gold Medalist

  • Recorded the first ever quintuple-double (25 points, 18 rebounds, 11 assists, 10 steals and 10 blocks)

  • 2020 Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame Inductee

Off the Court

Catchings has opened up about her Christian faith in an interview by saying "God is definitely my Savior. He's the one that walks beside me through my ups and downs and the one that keeps me focused on where I am going in life. He protects me. He provides for me. He guides me and he leads me"
