Mark Richt
Former UGA and University of Miami Football Coach
In his own words…
On the Field
Mark Richt is a college football coach who spent the majority of his coaching career as head coach of the Georgia Bulldogs, then the Miami Hurricanes. At the University of Georgia, he was one of the longest-tenured head coaches in the conference where he won two SEC Championships. Then, at the University of Miami, he led the team to three consecutive bowl games before announcing his retirement in 2018.
Off the Field
Richt is widely considered to be a standout man among the college football elites. His Christian character is apparent to those who know him, and his off the field work supercedes his Saturday success. In 2012, Richt received the Stalling Award for his charitable contributions and community service efforts in Georgia.
