J'Mar Smith

NFL Quarterback

In his own words…

On the Field

J’Mar Smith played quarterback for Louisiana Tech from 2016-2020. During those years he threw for over 9,000 passing yards with over 50 Touchdowns. He is currently preparing for the NFL draft with the hopes of being one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks selected.

Off the Field

Smith grew up in Meridian, Mississippi and chose Louisiana Tech over Memphis and Mississippi State. In discussing that decisions, Smith credits God for putting him in the right place at the right time. His favorite verse is Philippians 4:13, which he says, “doesn’t mean God will always make the road easy. It means He gives you strength when it isn’t.”
